Copper Nickel
The Copper Nickel is a popular venue in Ogden that hosts a variety of live entertainment and events. Located in the heart of the city, this spot offers a relaxed atmosphere for visitors to enjoy music, performances, and more. It's a great place for locals and tourists alike to experience some of the best cultural offerings in Ogden.
The structure at 2450 Grant Avenue retains parts of a shooting range once used by the Brownings for testing prototype firearms.
Historically, the Brownings ventured into the automobile industry, as evidenced by an old photograph, and the site was once known as Browning Kimball Motors. Efforts have been made to preserve much of the original architecture, including the brickwork, bridge trusses, and portions of the flooring.
Approximately 90% of the original ceiling remains intact. Noteworthy are the unaltered advertisements on the north wall, which were painted around the year 1900.
