Savor Something Sweet During Ogden Restaurant Week!
Apple walnut cobbler, chocolate decadence cake, peanut butter cream, strawberry panna cotta and deep fried cheesecake…don’t these desserts sound absolutely scrumptious?
Let’s face it; dessert is the best part of a meal. There’s nothing like a sweet concoction of cinnamon-sugar apples, hints of clove, and ice cream wrapped into one dessert to satisfy your cravings. Ogden’s restaurants have a dizzying selection of house-made desserts that are simply divine.
Here are just a handful of sweet eats you can try during Ogden Restaurant Week:
To start the list is Rovali's Ristorante Italiano an Italian restaurant located on the West end of Historic 25th Street. Rovali’s is family owned and operated and takes pride in making their desserts in house. Rovali’s is best known for their rich chocolate decadence cake and famous cannoli that is drizzled with chocolate syrup and sprinkled with chocolate chips. Always fresh and never frozen, Rovali’s desserts will keep you coming back for more.
Slackwater Pub & Pizzeria likes to go big with their menu selection. They have the most robust beer menu in town and for some of us beer is just as good, if not better than dessert. Along with their extreme beer menu, Slackwater likes to take dessert to another level. During Ogden Restaurant Week they will be offering a heavenly slice of deep fried cheesecake drizzled with strawberry sauce. It’s like heaven on earth when these flavors explode in your mouth.
The chefs at Tona Sushi Bar and Grill are masters of food art and have a passion for creating dishes based around seasonal goods from local farmers. This spring season you can find peanut butter cream at Tona. Imagine your spoon sinking into peanut butter mousse sprinkled with black sesame and almond dusk, finished with two lip smacking peanut butter cookies. Stop in and eat your heart out.
